01 — Overview
Off-the-shelf stops where your site begins
- Solar mounting for any roof or ground
- Frames, enclosures, brackets, structures
- Engineered for real wind and corrosion loads
- Measured on site, made to fit
Custom metal fabrication for energy and industrial installations — solar mounting structures, equipment frames, enclosures, brackets, tanks and support steelwork. We design, cut, weld and finish to your site’s exact requirements, engineered for the real wind, weight and corrosion loads a component will face, so what we build fits first time and lasts. From rooftop solar mounts to industrial support steelwork, we take a job from measurement and design through to a finished, protected structure ready to install.
Every energy installation eventually meets the same wall: the catalogue part does not fit the real site. A roof at an awkward pitch, a ground array on uneven terrain, an enclosure for a space no standard box was made for, a mounting frame that has to carry a specific load in a specific wind zone. That is where fabrication earns its place. Our workshop designs and builds the steelwork that energy and industrial systems stand on — solar mounting for tile, iron-sheet, flat-concrete and ground-mount, equipment frames and skids, protective enclosures, brackets, tanks and bespoke support structures. We do not simply cut metal to a drawing; we engineer for the loads that matter, sizing and bracing for the wind a structure will actually see, the weight it must carry for decades, and the corrosion it will fight in humid or coastal conditions. Work is measured on site so it fits on the first attempt rather than being forced or re-cut, and finished — galvanised, treated or painted — to survive the environment it lives in. The result is the difference between hardware that is bolted on and hardware that is properly mounted.
02 — Our experience
Fabricators who build for the field, not the showroom
- measured, made to fit
- On-sitemeasured, made to fit
- engineered, not guessed
- Loadengineered, not guessed
- against real corrosion
- Finishedagainst real corrosion
- by our own installers
- Field-provenby our own installers
Our fabrication is done by people who also install what they build, and that feedback loop is what separates our steelwork from a general metal shop’s. When we design a mounting frame, we already know how it has to go together on a roof three storeys up, in the wind, with a two-person team — so we build for that reality, not just for a clean drawing. We have seen where under-engineered structures fail: the bracket that flexed and cracked its seal, the frame that corroded through at a weld in two wet seasons, the mount that lifted in a storm because nobody calculated the real uplift. Those failures are designed out of what we make. We engineer for genuine wind loading rather than a rule of thumb, we finish every joint against the corrosion that local humidity guarantees, and we measure on site because a millimetre out on paper is a forced fit or a re-cut in the field. Because the same team stands behind the installation, there is no gap between what was fabricated and what actually had to be mounted — the two are designed as one job.
03 — What’s included
What we fabricate
Solar mounting structures
Roof and ground-mount frames for tile, iron-sheet, flat-concrete and open-ground arrays — engineered for the wind loading and panel weight of your specific site.
Frames & enclosures
Equipment skids, inverter and battery frames, protective enclosures and cabinets built to house and secure energy hardware in the conditions it will face.
Brackets & support steelwork
Bespoke brackets, stands, tanks and structural supports fabricated to fit where no standard component will, measured on site for a first-time fit.
Finishing & protection
Galvanising, treatment and coating so fabricated steel survives humidity, dust and coastal corrosion for the full life of the installation it supports.
04 — Why it pays
Why custom fabrication pays
It fits your site, exactly
Measured and built for your real roof, terrain or space — no forcing a catalogue part to fit, no compromise on where hardware can go.
Engineered for real loads
Structures are sized for the actual wind, weight and uplift they will face, so nothing flexes, cracks a seal, or lifts in the first storm.
Built to outlast the weather
Properly finished steel resists the humidity, dust and corrosion that eat under-treated metal, so the mounting outlives many of the parts it carries.
One team, drawing to bolt
The people who fabricate also install, so what is built matches what has to be mounted — no gap between workshop drawing and site reality.
Faster, cleaner installs
Steelwork that fits first time removes the re-cutting, shimming and improvising that slow a job down and compromise the result.
Solutions where there is no product
When no off-the-shelf mount, frame or enclosure exists for your problem, fabrication is what turns “it can’t be done here” into a delivered system.
