Fuel cells occupy a valuable niche between batteries and combustion generators. Like a battery, a fuel cell is silent, clean and vibration-free — but unlike a battery it does not deplete; as long as fuel flows it produces power, giving long-duration backup or continuous prime power that a battery alone cannot sustain. Against a diesel generator, the advantages are stark: no exhaust emissions or particulates, dramatically less noise, high efficiency and far less maintenance, with no fuel to spill or degrade in storage. For telecom towers and data centres, that means reliable multi-hour backup in locations where a running generator would be unacceptable. In warehousing, hydrogen forklifts refuel in minutes and hold steady power through a shift, eliminating the downtime and battery-swap infrastructure of electric fleets. And as green hydrogen becomes more available, fuel cells offer a genuinely zero-emission path for the hardest continuous and critical loads. The technology carries a higher upfront cost and depends on fuel logistics — which is why we deploy it where its unique strengths, silent, clean, uninterrupted power, decisively outweigh the alternatives.

05 — Delivery

The installation process

Every installation follows the same engineered sequence, from first survey to commissioning and handover.

  1. We assess the application — telecom or data-centre backup, prime power for a remote site, or material-handling (forklift) fleets — and the available fuel.

  2. Systems are specified by type: PEM fuel cells for fast-response backup and material handling, and other chemistries for continuous prime power.

  3. Fuel supply is designed around the site — stored hydrogen, or fuel-flexible cells running on available gas — with safe storage and handling engineered to standard.

  4. For backup, the fuel cell integrates with the grid and critical loads for automatic, silent changeover; for prime power it can pair with solar and storage in a hybrid.

  5. Because the only by-product of a hydrogen cell is water and heat, siting is flexible — indoors, in occupied areas or emissions-sensitive zones.

  6. We commission with performance and safety verification and establish a maintenance regime for the stack and balance-of-plant.
