Household biomass performs a quiet piece of alchemy: it takes two daily problems — waste to get rid of and fuel to buy — and cancels them against each other. A correctly sized digester supplies the bulk of a family’s cooking from kitchen scraps and manure alone, which means the charcoal money simply stops leaving the house, month after month, and the hours spent gathering firewood come back. The health gain arrives immediately, and is felt most by whoever does the cooking: an enclosed gas flame produces none of the smoke that scars eyes and lungs over years at an open fire. The environmental case is unusually clean, because the fuel is genuinely waste. Burning charcoal drives deforestation and releases carbon; letting organic matter rot releases methane, a far more potent greenhouse gas. A digester intercepts both — capturing the methane and burning it for useful work. Then it hands back a second prize: the digested slurry is a potent organic fertiliser that lifts crop yields, closing the loop between waste, energy and food on a single plot. The engineering is deliberately unglamorous — masonry, pipe and a stove, with no moving parts to fail, repairable by local artisans and good for fifteen to twenty years.

05 — Delivery
The installation process
Every installation follows the same engineered sequence, from first survey to commissioning and handover.
We start by auditing your feedstock honestly — how much kitchen waste, manure and crop residue your household actually produces each day, because that figure, not ambition, sets the size of the digester.
We assess the site: available space, water access, the run from kitchen to digester, and the soil and water table, which together decide whether a fixed-dome, prefabricated or above-ground unit is appropriate.
For biogas we size and install a 4–15 m³ digester with an inlet mixing chamber, an anaerobic fermentation chamber, gas storage and a slurry outlet — sized so your daily feed sustains your daily cooking hours with margin.
We plumb the gas line to a purpose-built biogas stove, and a lamp where useful, with a water trap, pressure gauge and safety valve, then pressure-test every joint before the system is ever fed.
Where feedstock is too dry or too scarce for a digester, we supply improved gasifier cookstoves and compressed briquettes instead — a far more complete burn than an open fire, on a fraction of the fuel and none of the smoke.
We commission the plant: first charge, verified gas pressure, flame quality checks, and confirmation that the slurry outlet drains cleanly to your garden or a collection pit.
We train the household on the daily routine — the feed-to-water ratio, what must never go in, how to read the pressure gauge — and schedule the periodic desludging that keeps a digester productive for decades.
